Are shuttle drones more difficult to play than standard drones?
Yes and no
HengeloPipes shuttle drones were designed with new features like the chord switch. It will take some practise to get used to those features, but it is also possible to ignore those things and play them as a normal 2 or 3 drone set.
The shuttle drones will be available in different configurations. Keep an eye on youtube for examples.
Do plastic bagpipes need maintenance?
Yes!
It is very important to keep your instrument hygienic and properly adjusted but you don't need to worry about oiling bores or the material getting wet.
A new instrument will include a manual to help you start and to execute all basic maintenance.
Are replacement parts available?
Yes
I will be able supply replacement parts, the whole idea is to not limit the use of these instruments by barriers like (high) cost and availability.
